About Us

The Church of God of Prophecy (COGOP) is a Christian, Bible-believing, Spirit-filled fellowship that has been in existence since the late 1800s. You will find our International Office located in Cleveland, TN, but our vibrant local churches extend all over the world!

Our Mission

The mission of the Church of God of Prophecy is to bear witness for Christ and His truth and to spread the gospel of the Kingdom in all its fullness and power, so that the rule of God is brought about in the hearts of men.

Our Core Values

Prayer is not only a personal commitment but it also a corporate commitment of the Church of God of Prophecy.  Prayer links us to the vision, guidance and support of God.  We strive in all things to walk in his light to best of our knowledge and ability.  Therefore, prayer at the forefront of everything we do, helps demonstrate that in all things we desire “his will be done on earth as it is in heaven”.

Harvest has been the consistent call of the Church of God of Prophecy since 1994 when we “Turned to the Harvest”.  Actually a realignment to our original call since the birth of our movement, we endeavor to reach the ends of the world with the Gospel of Christ.

Leadership Development

The key to reaching the lost is to better equip our pastors and leaders with the best knowledge and development so that we can engage in the harvest.  The Bible state that the “fields are white” and that their is a great need for “Harvesters”.   Our goal is to develop these “Harvesters” so that we can join the Master Reaper and participate in these last days.  Education, training, mentoring and many other tools are utilized so that we can be the most productive in this effort.

Stewardship is utilizing and managing all resources God provides for the glory of God and the betterment of His Kingdom.

The COGOP accepts this calling as God’s stewards to manage that which belongs to God. While God has graciously entrusted us with the care, development, and utilization of his resources, we are responsible to manage his holdings well and according to his desires and purposes.

We are all stewards of the resources, abilities and opportunities that God has entrusted to our care, and one day each one of us will be called to give an account for how we have managed what the Master has given us. Therefore, it is with joy that we work hand-in-hand with God, utilizing that which God had given us, to his glory and honor.
