Is there a paper application I can print and mail in?
No, this year camper applications are fully online. The application process has been streamlined to make completing the application easier than ever.
What payment options do I have for my camper application?
This year, you have 4 payment options. You can pay in full online when you complete the application. You also have the option to make either 2 or 3 monthly payments automatically through our billing system. Finally, you can make the minimum deposit when you complete the application and bring the balance with you to check-in your camper.
How much does Camp Bethel 2023 cost?
All camps, SR, JR, and CHAMP have a tuition cost of $150 per camper.
How does the online application process work?
The parent or guardian will go online and fill out their information as well as their camper's information. This is just basic details that will help us know who is wanting to attend camp. Once the application has been accepted and the payment has been made, a second email will be sent to the parent or guardian notifying them of the application acceptance along with a request for additional information to ensure the staff at Camp Bethel can properly care for the camper while on the campground. All information is required before the camper can be checked in. Additional emails may be sent prior to camp with updates to our check-in process or other camp details relevant to this year's camp week.
How does the check-in process work for campers coming from Ohio?
Campers coming from Ohio who have registered to ride the charter bus will need to arrive at Restoration Church, located at 1729 Hillcrest Ave, Obetz OH, by 8:30am. Each camper will go through the normal check-in process including head check, turning in medications to our medical team, turn in cell phones, and purchasing any snack cards. Final tuition payments will also be required at this time. Once fully checked in, campers will load their belongings on the bus. **PLEASE MARK YOUR CAMPERS BAGS SO THEY DO NOT GET MIXED UP** THE BUS WILL LEAVE PROMPTLY AT 10AM AND WILL NOT BE ABLE TO WAIT FOR ANYONE WHO HAS NOT FULLY BEEN CHECKED IN.
Can my camper have their cell phone during camp?
For the safety, care, and concern of all campers, cell phones are NOT permitted at Camp Bethel by campers. Should a camper need to call home or should there be an emergency, a staff member will assist the camper in calling their parent or guardian.
