Special Announcement

Today on a Pastors Forum Bishop Clint Knowles released this statement to our Pastoral Leadership:

“For the safety of every Church of God of Prophecy congregation in the state of Ohio & West Virginia, and to further serve the need of our nation and world to eliminate the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), I am requesting that all in-church ministry gatherings be suspended through April 30, 2020. This guidance is in response to the directives offered on March 16, 2020, by the White House”

During the forum Bishop Knowles, shared that now is the time for the Body of Christ to be even more bold with the Gospel and the Hope of Christ during these uncommon times. As a region we need to be encouraged to work together to meet the needs of our people spiritually, socially and financially.

Bishop Knowles is suggesting that all congregations work together with their leadership to:

  • Be creative with continuing to “meet” together using group calls. small groups of 10 or less, and social media to connect.

  • Be aware of everyone in our congregations by checking on them regularly. Attending to the needs of the elderly, sick and disabled.

  • Be faithful in tithing and giving. The needs and expenses of the local church will continue on for each congregation even though we are not able to meet at the church building as usual. Using online pay services or mailing in your contributions may be necessary for a while.

Our offices will keep the leadership of this great region informed so that you can be kept up to date.
